Our intention with this series is to ask this same question to other black people of the african diaspora, regions black people were dispersed to as a result of the transatlantic slave trade, and listen and learn about their experience with blackness as a way to foster community and understanding. As always, we take on this topic using our format tool, the DIC, and (D)efine, analyze (Impact), and discuss how we (C)ope/Address with any awareness, new or old.
Stay tuned as we unpack this topic. We will be weaving parts to this series throughout our episodes.
